The Burberry Essentials Glow Palettes were just released, and I picked up the 02 Medium to Dark face palette, which includes two contour/bronzers, two blushes and two highlighters. I was immediately impressed with how deep the bronzers were, and knew this would be brown skin friendly.
Sculpt Dark Brown— This is a cream formula. For my skin it is too dark for a bronzer, or contour, so I wore it on my eyes, and it blends beautifully. It’s a dark chocolate brown.
Sculpt Medium Brown— this is a beautiful powder bronzer or contour. This was the perfect shade for me. It pulls red, which words fine on me. It leaves the skin with a lovely glow, and is easy to blend out. A little goes a long way.
Blush Coral & Fuchsia–beautiful, blendable blushes, that can be worn as a blush and highlighter. The fuchsia blush has a bit more color on me, and works perfectly as a wash of color on the eyes as well. Both look sophisticated on the cheek.
Highlight Nude Gold & Rose Gold— These are incredibly pigmented highlighters, so go in slowly and build up as you desire. They really do work beautifully with the blushes, and work well to highlight the eyes. I think I prefer the shade of rose gold just a tad more, but both are lovely.
Burberry Essentials Glow Palette
This is a beautiful palette, with generous sized pans. All the colors are complimentary on my brown skin. They also work on the eyes. There is also a buzz around these face palettes, with people excited about a new Burberry product that seems inclusive. Let’s see where the Burberry Beauty brand goes from here.
