For this design, we worked with our incredibly talented illustrator, who made sure every detail of our design was captured. We are big wildlife lovers, and wanted to launch Frais by Breezy Tee by showcasing the bond of mother and child, in the wild.
The Pangolin is an animal many don’t know about, but one you should! They are the most trafficked mammals on earth, and their numbers are dwindling. They are such beautiful animals, and their scales make them truly unique. We wanted to show a snapshot of a moment in their natural habitat. Young Pangolins hitch rides on their moms, as she goes about her day, and our illustrator beautifully captured the moment we wanted. They come in two colorways, teals and blues, and shades of brown, and each is a piece of wearable art.
Silk Twill is the standard in luxury for all the famed fashion houses around the world, making it the only option for our silk scarves, and other silk products we have in our mother brand, Breezy Tee. The "twill" in silk twill are small ridges on the silk fabric that allow light to hit in the most interesting way, and give the silk the most sophisticated sheen. Our scarves are also just as vibrant on one side, as it is the other, so now matter how you wear it, the beauty shines through.
MADE IN ITALY
The Made In Italy tag, and hand rolled hems give the final stamp of luxury to our scarves. Italy is known for their silk twill fabric. So, we wanted the best quality fabric, which is why our designs are constructed in Italy. Kicking it up another notch was having them hand rolled. This is not a quick process, but it adds the most special touch.
Each scarf will arrive in a gorgeous, luxury, box, made with recycled materials, adorned with recycled post consumer poly ribbon.
Part of the proceeds will go to an organization, based in Zimbabwe, dedicated to the conservation of Pangolins.
We want these wildlife mother and child designs to become a series, where we can showcase animals whose numbers in the wild are depleting. For each new design, a portion of the sale will go to an organization dedicated to helping the animal in the design.
Our Silk Twill scarves should be dry cleaned, or gently hand washed. Care instructions are on the label. Can be ironed on the "silk" setting of your iron.
