Fenty Beauty recently released seven Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzers and ten Cheeks Our Freestyle Cream Blushes to their line, and I picked up one of each. Rocking our Breezy Tee Coral Boho Headband, I dug in.
Cream Bronzer Hunnie Glaze— The cream bronzers join the powder bronzers the brand released last year, I believe. The powder bronzer is one of my favorites, so this cream bronzer had a lot to live up to. Rihanna personally names all her products herself, and I always get a good kick out of the names she comes up with. Hunni Glaze is very creamy, and incredibly easy to blend out, and is for medium to tan skin tones, according to the brand. . I found the product would sheer out, so if you like a lot of bronzer, you may need a couple of layers. I like my bronzer/contour to look more natural, so I found it achieved a natural bronze really quickly. I also loved how I could easily use my finger or a brush, to get the bronzer on with no issues. I didn’t find it greasy, and enjoyed the consistency.
Cream Blush Petal Poppin— This is a coral blush on me, but the brand calls it a, “soft baby pink.” I’d heard you had to put in a little work for color to appear, but I found I got a really nice wash of color quickly. The coral color was perfect for my brown skin. It went on really bright, but then blended out for a sophisticated bit of color. And, yes, it can absolutely be built up, without feeling overwhelming. Again, a finger or brush worked beautifully to get a perfect application. I would definitely get this blush in other colors, because it not only gave a nice wash of color but a subtle glow as well.
Well done to the Fenty Team, I think they have winners with these.
