Givenchy Bouncy Highlighter Review

Givenchy Bouncy Highlighter Review

I turned our Khaki Sleep Scarf into a fun & fashionable headband & paired it with Givenchy’s new, bouncy highlighter. To find out all about my first impressions, just keep reading!

Givenchy has just released its newest collection, African Light, inspired by the beauty & light of Africa.  The colors in the collection are reminiscent of the earth, and natural landscapes found on the largest continent.

Givenchy Bouncy Highlighter Review

While the full collection looked lovely, I have to admit, my eyes were fixed sternly on the Bouncy Highlighter Cooling Jelly Glow, for weeks before its release.  The design on the highlighter itself is stunning and certainly made me think of pyramids and prints I might find somewhere in Africa.

I had to have it!!

Here are a few key points about this highlighter

–Jelly highlighter with a cooling effect

–Macadamia oil (antioxidant that hydrates skin)

–Honey extract (anti-inflammatory that hydrates skin)

–Coconut fruit extract (moisturizing antibacterial that fights acne)

This highlighter feels like “butta.” It’s as soft as silk to the touch. I also love when brands mix their makeup with skincare. Protecting our skin is so important when wearing makeup.

Givenchy Bouncy Highlighter ReviewI paired the new highlighter with my first lipstick from Givenchy’s Le Rouge collection.  The color I chose was a beautifully creamy, pigmented coral, perfect for spring.

Givenchy Bouncy Highlighter ReviewMy first impression is quite positive.  The highlighter gives a very natural glow.  If you’re into a lot of blinding shine, this one may not be for you.  However, if you’re like me, and prefer a more subtle, natural glow, check it out.

I’m only bummed it is indeed limited edition.  This is my first highlighter from Givenchy, and if they keep this formula, I’ll certainly be back for more in the future.
